My mother was a musician. I frequently accompanied her to concerts and opera. I was around 5 years old when I saw Don Giovanni for the first time at the Teatro Colon, and around 10 years old when we heard Beethoven’s 9th Symphony performed in the inaugural concert of the Roberto Arias Peres theatre. I was marked by both.
I take energy from the music and drama on the stage. I am inspired by the facial expressions and the physical effort of singers, orchestra directors and musicians of every genre. I admire their discipline, sensibility and capacity to emotionally transport their audiences.
