Who is Lucas Goubert

In the spring of 1973, within the hallowed halls of Clinica Palermo in Bogotá, Lucas first drew breath. However, his true birth as an artist did not occur until the winter of 1995. It was then, upon the pages of a sketchbook gifted by his friend Ultra Violeta, that he etched his first illustration—a tree inspired by Gabriela Mistral's poem “Ultimo Arbol.”
In 1999, Lucas ventured to Europe, seeking fortune in the banking realm. It was in Paris, during the spring of 2003, that his friend Justin re-christened him. In search of a “nom de plume” for his aspirations in erotic films, Justin bestowed upon him the name Lucas Goubert, derived from his childhood dog's name and his mother's maiden name. Though his cinematic ambitions never came to fruition, he adopted this pseudonym, which has since echoed through various facets of his life.
In December 2007, Lucas found love with Cupix LevX.
As 2024 dawned, a dark malaise befell him—a “burnout.” One fateful afternoon, within the confines of his Place Vendome office, his mind severed its tether. He collapsed, his limbs rendered useless, his voice a mere whisper. It was then that he resolved to abandon his banking career, with all its relentless stress and ceaseless demands. Now, he channels all his energy into the arts of collage, painting, and drawing.
Lucas draws inspiration from the entropic contradictions of existence. In the cacophony of chaos, he seeks the elusive symphony of harmony; through the darkest vices, he pursues the fleeting specter of virtue. The beauty of his characters does not reside in the superficial veneer of their plastic forms, but rather in the pulsating, grotesque splendor of their internal organs, in the tormented labyrinth of their passions, obsessions, and most intimate desires.

In all harmony,
I welcome you to my
universe.
