In the mist-laden days of his adolescence in Colombia, Lucas came into possession of his French grandfather's tarot cards and esoteric tomes. With a youthful curiosity, he delved into the mysteries of each major arcana, unraveling their meanings and philosophies, a pursuit that would cast a mystical glow upon his path.
As a high school scholar and later at the university in Bogotá, he offered tarot readings to friends and acquaintances, his insights a beacon in the uncertain mists of their lives. Then, in the years 2022 and 2023, he embarked upon a personal odyssey, drawing all the major arcana and thus crafting his own tarot deck, each card a testament to his unique vision.
In the subsequent years, 2023 and 2024, he ventured into the realm of collage, breathing new life into the ancient symbols. A collector's request led him to create "The Hanged Woman," a twist on the traditional Hanged Man, followed by a procession of evocative cards: The Sorceress, The World, The Nameless Arcane, The Hermit, The Chariot, Judgement, The Magician, The Star, The Devil, and more.
Each tarot card, with its beautiful and mysterious meaning, holds a story, a secret. Yet, among these, Lucas Goubert's heart is most captivated by The Devil, The Mad, The Wizard, and The Force, each resonating with his soul in a dance of shadows and light.
